This week, the G.R.I.T.S. chop it up and discuss the evolution of southern hip-hop throughout the decades. After celebrating 50 years of hip-hop at a Brooklyn block party, we noticed Da South was left out of the celebration. We discuss the block party, our experiences with NYC hip-hop, and we give our top 5 all-time favorite rap artists as we reminisce when we first fell in love with hip-hop.
Not only do we discuss hip-hop, we also speak on current events that are trending, such as Tory Lanez prison sentencing and Alabama's brawl and leave the G.R.I.T.S. gem. "Don't Knuck, if you aren't prepared to get Bucked".
